BN PCC 7000 #7164
12 august 2000 - Bruxelles/Brussel, Belgium – Houba de Strooper. Two classic BN PCCs stand in the terminal stub of Line 18. This stub terminus is no longer used and the few remaining PCCs also have only a very short time to run.

14 august 1999 - Bruxelles, Belgium – transport museum. Bruxelles ran trolleybuses until 1964. The most modern type were these ACEC/Brossel buses of 1956. Only Ghent now operates trolleybuses in Belgium, and even this little line is due to close soon.

17 august 1999 - Thuin, Belgium. The ASVi tramway museum features street running, which is unusual for an enthusiast-run operation. The line was once an electrified route of the extensive Vicinal system but was closed and de-electrified in the 1990s. ASVi have worked very hard to restore electric operation, but for some years could only run with diesel powered trams, like ART300 shown here.

21 october 2007 - Anderlues, Belgium. A few years later - and looking in the other direction – nothing much has changed except the colour of the tram. The signals controlling the single line beyond are original SNCV/NMBS equipment.

30 july 1999 - Anderlues, Belgium. The Charleroi ‘Light Metro’ still includes a few places where time has stood still since the days of the fabulous SNCV/NMBS tramway network. At Anderlues, TEC trams terminate where the tracks once continued across the fields towards Binche and Mons. This old livery has now gone, too.

20 april 2002 - Bruxelles, Belgium – depot and museum Woluwe. Tram 7047 from the first batch of Bruxelles PCC cars when still in original colour. Last week, it was stated that regular use of 7000-class trams will end this winter – your last chance to ride these classic and very historic PCCs if you can, the first in Europe and a big influence on the development of Konstal and Tatra PCCs. There are just a few left!

25 may 2003 - Bruxelles, Belgium – depot and museum Woluwe. STIB has a very nice museum (currently closed for building work) and operates several historic trams, including this 1935 city car. Quite basic construction, rather like a box on wheels, but these lasted a long time in regular service.

De Lijn już jest w trakcie zamiany linii na tabor AG300 CNG i około połowy brygad w tej chwili to dieslowskie AG300. Z jednej strony szkoda, z drugiej strony – jaki sens ekonomiczny ma JEDNA linia trolejbusowa?

june 2007 - Bruksela: Auderghem/ Oudergem. Po zmianie kierunku wagon sposobi się do podstawienia na przystanek początkowy Hermann-Debroux. Zdjęcie trochę już historyczne - kilka miesięcy po wykonaniu trasa linii 94 została wydłużona od (widocznej na wyświetlaczu) końcówki Kerkhof van Jette do Stadion, za zlikwidowaną linię 18. Niedługo będzie jeszcze bardziej historyczne - w maju 2008 ruszyły prace nad budową nowej trasy od H.-Debroux via Vorstlaan do stacji metra Roodebeek.

15 september 2008 - Bruksela. Z podziemnego terminalu Montgomery startują dwie efektowne linie podmiejskie: 39 (do Ban Eik) i 44 (do Tervuren). Jeszcze w 2007 roku kursowały na nich wyłącznie czteroosiowe, jednostronne i jednokierunkowe wagony serii 7000. Obecnie coraz częściej pojawiają się przegubowce serii 7700. Za pierwszymi drzwiami wagonu dobrze widoczny nowy kasownik do kart zbliżeniowych.

Jeszcze w 2007 roku kursowały na nich wyłącznie czteroosiowe, jednostronne i jednokierunkowe wagony serii 7000. Obecnie coraz częściej pojawiają się przegubowce serii 7700. Widoczny na zdjęciu #7045 ma oryginalny - nieprzebudowany przód z wyżej umieszczonym, okrągłym reflektorem oraz małymi okrągłymi lampkami, także po bokach.
