Ikarus 1232* had worked at the most intensive routes until 2007. Since 1990 to 2004 it worked mainly at Route 62 (one of the most central routes in Kiev). After the bulk purchase of MAZs at the beginning of the year 2004, it went to Route 50 (in past it was the most intensive route in Kiev). When this route was closed by the Kiev municipality, 1232* went to the Route 108 (sometimes also Routes 42, 49, 95 and 48), where it was working until May 2008 (mortality of all Kiev Ikaruses from city routes).
