28 august 2007 - Rijeka, ul. Zvonimirova. An MAN stops at the railway station, and we're waiting under the palms for the next one. Despite heavy traffic it's dead easy to take a photo here - because of the single-door boarding regime and the fact, that the driver only lets people off once the passengers have boarded, we have plenty of time for a good shot...

13 august 2014 - Opatija, Velog Jože street. Opatija is holiday resort, which is located 13 km from center of Rijeka. Resort has an attractive coast, so it`s no surprise that crowds from the city are coming here.

13 august 2014 - Rijeka, Riva street. In the 90s of XX century, Rijeka felt the painful decline in population - from 168 thousands to 144. A decrease of 24 thousand people was the largest among 7 biggest Croatian cities, which have more then 50 thousand residents. Probably it happened because of industrial changes and the decline in employment in ship industry. In addition, the city wasn`t (and still isn`t) particularly attractive to tourists, which could partly inhibit that fall.
